Learn Your Overlocker Most of us that own an overlocker do not get the most out of it because we either do not understand what makes it tick or we are not confident enough to experiment with what it can do or we are to frightened to change stitch types because we would have to rethread the machine— sound familiar? Come along for a one day instructional class where we will show you all the different stitches and what they are for, including the attachment of elastic, going around corners, rolled hemming and flat locking plus tips and tricks to help ease the pain of overlocking. Machine Embroidery Are you the lucky owner of a computerized embroidery machine? Are you a little hesitant when it comes to making projects where embroidery designs and techniques are involved? Come and join us We meet twice monthly and you can learn techniques as they apply to different projects. We will get your ideas flowing and give you the confidence to use computerized machine embroidery in your own projects. This is a wonderful way to learn to make the most of your machine while completing some wonderful projects. This type of class is the ultimate way to improve your sewing skills and improve knowledge and techniques. The main advantages of this class is firstly that you can work at your own pace thereby removing the pressure often created by fellow class mates finishing projects sooner and you feeling unhappy playing catch up and secondly you enjoy the full attention of the teacher thus giving you the opportunity to ask more questions more often thus removing the necessity to unpick and redo. Heritage Quilt

The first quilt Jenny designed and made ,was a cream tone-ontone quilt. The quilt has many embroidered quilting techniques. It is a great way to use and learn your machine. For those of you who do not want to do a heritage quilt we have done this quilt in tan anf black to modern it up, my teenage niece loves it so look outside the circle and maybe do it in blues and browns or pinls and greens toe combinations are endless but the techniques you learn are valuable.

These panels can either be appliqued or trapunto quilted. Both make beautiful wall hangings and the teenagers just love them, which makes a great gift for the daughter, grand-daughter niece that you just don't know what to buy.
